Bear The Pain: Peter Obi Urges Nigerians to Endure Hardship of Naira Redesign

Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi has urged his supporters to endure the hardship accompanying swap of the old Naira notes to new ones by Nigerian banks.

Mr. Obi said this is three tweets he made Sunday afternoon, calming his supporters to allow the process, urging that it is normal for such to occur whenever such policies are are made anywhere in the world.

He however urged the Central Bank of Nigeria to handle the situation better in the interest of many poor and underprivileged who are the worst hit by the policy.
