CBN Gov. Emefiele on The Run from DSS As Presidency Withholds Announcement of His Replacement

Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele is dodging the secret police who had invited him for some questioning.
Objectv Media gathered that Emefiele was on administrative bail granted him by the DG of DSS, Maman Daura to enable him travel for treatment and return. Emefiele has however refused to turn himself, afterwards.
The apex bank’s top man suspects he could be detained if he returns to the secret police to answer critical questions set for him.
Meanwhile, a letter of appointment for person to replace the CBN Governor is ready with the Presidency. Sources familiar with President Buhari disclosed that he doesn’t want to sack anyone by himself, except to announce new appointees. President Buhari would ask stakeholders to go and do the sacking by themselves, while he would announce the new appointee.
Asides being wanted for known questions, there are allegations Mr. Emefiele also received huge sums from the World Bank but which were diverted into a private account.
