Fuel Price: Brace Up For Tougher Times Under APC – Labour Party Tells Nigerians

The Labour Party (LP) has said that the current increase in the price of petroleum products at the pump, particularly premium motor spirit, more commonly know as petrol is just the beginning of the hardships that Nigerians will experience under the Tinubu, APC administration.
The party urged Nigerians to recall that it had previously warned them not to believe the ruse being peddled to them by the APC administration regarding the suspension of gasoline subsidy since the ruling party lacked any plans to ease their plight.

Obiora Ifoh, the LP’s national publicity secretary, made this declaration in a statement that was made public late yesterday.
He claimed that the Labour Party had previously warned that the current bourgeoisie government could only benefit the upper class and leave the proletariat in poverty.
“You give a family of five a pitiful N8000 and then take everything they’ve worked for through irritating policies.
“What Nigerians are receiving from the current administration is not what they deserve. The Labour Party criticises the government’s treatment of its citizens. Even worse, this is happening as this administration watches as the value of the Naira continues to decline.
“We remain hopeful that Nigeria will defeat the Taskmaster of our time, though. We will shortly see the Promised Land.”
