Hoodlums Snatch Ballot Boxes In Ijesha-Tedo, Surulere

At Ijesha-Tedo, Surulere, Lagos, voters who turned out to exercise their right to vote were scared away a little while ago when hoodlums raided several of the polling places and took the ballot boxes at gunpoint.
Objectv Media observed several INEC adhoc personnel carrying their leftover materials and tables to polling unit 09, which is close to the office of Olatunji Abiola Shoyinka, a member of the House of Representatives who represents Surulere Constituency II, on Durodoyen Street, Ijesha.

One of the PDP agents claimed that the thugs were stealing ballot boxes while escorting people away at gunpoint as they moved from polling place to polling place.
Meanwhile , some of the party agents who spoke to our reporter lamented the low turn-out of voters in this election compared to that of March 25, presidential election.
