How Gunmen Beheads LGA  Chairman In Imo

Chris Ohizu, the sole administrator of Imo State’s Ideato North Local Government Area, was beheaded by the kidnappers. 

He was executed by the terrorists on Sunday despite an N6 million ransom being paid, Objectv Media gathered.

The deceased Council leader and two other people were taken from their home on Friday at Imoko Community in the Arondizuogu region of the LGA by gunmen who were thought to be IPOB militants.

His residence was set ablaze, and they shot him before he was whisked away.

Our correspondent gathered that the sole administrator was beheaded on Sunday.

On Sunday night, videos of his beheading appeared online. 

A source said: ”they beheaded the Ideato North Sole Administrator on Sunday.

They posted the video of his beheading with his phone on his own WhatsApp status. This was how people got to know that he has been beheaded.

“He was sliced after collecting a ransom of N6m. He was killed in such an inhuman way. The videos are terrifying. May God heal our land.”

As of the time of filing this report, Henry Okoye, a spokesman for the state’s police, stated that the investigation was ongoing.
