My Cows, Sheeps Are Easier To Control Than Nigerians, Says Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari claims he cannot wait to return to Daura, Katsina state, where he grew up.

NAN reports that Buhari gave a speech at a banquet on Sunday in Abuja.

Buhari praised the results of the elections in 2023 and thanked Nigerians for understanding the importance of voting and that their votes mattered.

The president claimed that the general elections restored the electorate’s authority in Nigeria.

“I am looking forward to tomorrow to fly to my base and go back to my cows and sheep, which are much easier to control than fellow Nigerians,” Buhari was reportedly quoted as saying.

Buhari wished the leaders of state and government present well and thanked them for their support.

He addressed the leaders of state and government and their representatives, saying, “Your excellencies, I thank you very much and I say goodbye and I wish us the best of luck.”

Presidents Julius Maado Bio of Sierra Leone, Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana, and Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa were present.
