Naira Scarcity: CBN Deceived Buhari, New Notes Intended To Stop Elections – Oshiomhole

Adams Oshiomhole, a former governor of Edo State, claimed that the Central Bank of Nigeria duped President Muhammadu Buhari and that the new Naira policy goal was to thwart the elections.

This claim was made by Oshiomhole during an interview on Sunday’s live episode of The Verdict on Channels Television.

The governing All Progressives Congress’s (APC) previous national chairman criticized the naira redesign program as being pointless.

Accorded to him, “CBN’s naira redesign policy is senseless… CBN deceived Buhari and the intention behind it was to stop the elections.
