NCP Caretaker Committee Disowns Endorsement of Peter Obi, Tinubu by Ex-Party Leaders And Faction

The new caretaker committee of the National Conscience Party (NCP) led by Comrade Tunde Agunbiade has disowned the endorsements of candidates of other parties by ex-leaders of the NCP and another faction of the deregistered party.
In a press statement signed by the caretaker committee obtained by Objectv Media, the NCP noted that former leadership of the party led by Dr. Tunusa Tanko endorsed presidential candidate of the Labor Party, Mr. Peter Obi while another faction of the now deregistered party separately endorsed Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), yesterday.

The new caretaker committee says the two separate endorsers are on their own, as the party founded by human rights crusader and lawyer, Chief Gani Fawehinmi is not interested in candidates of the ruling or former ruling party or their appendages, who worked to frustrate and prevent registration of the NCP in the first place.
The statement also notes that the de-registration of the NCP was also part of schemes by the ruling elites to frustrate existence of the pro-masses endeavors of the legal luminary and activists.
NCP’s new caretaker committee says it is now working to return the NCP to its original path of visionary political activism, after the 2023 general elections.
