Arsenal Star, Bukayo Ayoyinka Saka paid Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos, a visit at the Lagos State House.
This comes barely three days after the gifted 21-year-old set off on a unique voyage to his ancestral home in Nigeria.
Saka, known for his breathtaking performances on the football field, captured the attention of fans worldwide.
Supporters and the media greeted his arrival in Lagos with immense elation and happiness. The English international’s parents are from Nigeria, therefore for him and his family, the trip has special significance.
Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed his enthusiasm at hosting the Arsenal player via his verified Twitter on Saturday.
In his tweet, the governor wrote, “Today was an exciting day at the State House in Marina as I had the pleasure of hosting my favourite @Arsenal player, Star Boy Bukayo Saka. @BukayoSaka87. I also had the privilege of receiving a personally signed Saka jersey.”
