Police Set Up Special Investigation Team To Probe Mohbad’s Death

A 13-person special investigation team has been established by the Lagos State Police Command to look into the untimely passing of Nigerian artist Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
At a news conference on Monday, Lagos Police Commissioner Idowu Owohunwa revealed this and promised to use all of his authority to track down the murderers.

“Do not forget, we have unique access with INTERPOL. Everybody linked to it (the death of Mohbad) will be identified and they will be brought to establish their level of involvement,” Owohunwa said.
Mohbad, formerly known as Naira Marley and a signee of Azeez Faashola’s Marlian Records, passed away last Tuesday at the age of 27.
He was laid to rest on Wednesday in Lagos’ Ikorodu neighbourhood after there were questions raised over his passing.
