Police Threatens To Assault Father Of Boy Killed By ‘Stray Bullet’ At Meiran For Inquiring Investigation

… Father visits to Panti Police station in commemoration of unresolved tragic murder of 14year-old son.
Mr. Sanyaolu, father of 14year old Mubarak who was killed by bullet in November, 2021 was threatened by police at the Criminal Investigations Department (Panti) for asking to know if there is any development on the case.
It’s exactly over a year and six months today 22 June, 2023, when great tragedy struck at the Command bus stop in Meiran, Lagos State where a bribe-seeking police officer killed tricycle operator, Eleyele with dagger over N50 bribe argument and another 17year old boy was killed while police shot sporadically to disperse angry protesters reacting to Eleyele’s death same day.
On Wednesday, the slain 14year-old Mubarak was threatened by the IPO in charge of the case, ASP. Alonge.
According to Mubarak’s father, “ASP Alonge threatened to slap him if he continued to mention that his son was killed by a Police officer.”
