President Tinubu Hosts Abdulsalami, Ribadu, Others Amid Niger Coup Resolution

As part of his efforts to diffuse the political situation, President Bola Tinubu is currently holding meetings with some of the key players in the ECOWAS intervention in the standoff in the Niger Republic.

The Authority of the Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States is led by Tinubu.

Dr. Omar Touray, president of the ECOWAS Commission, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (retired), head of the ECOWAS delegation to the military government in Niger Republic, and Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, national security adviser to the president, were present at the meeting, which was currently taking place at State House in Abuja.
