Stop Mocking Our Profession – Actors Guild Caution Gov. El-Rufai for Likening Peter Obi to Nollywood Actor | Objectv Media

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has reacted to statement by Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai for describing Presidential candidate of the Labor Party, Mr. Peter Obi as a Nollywood actor in the race.

The build in a statement signed by its Director of Communications, Actress Kate Henshaw, the Actors’ Guild cautioned El Rufai for talking down on he noble profession.

The statements says Nollywood is made up of professionals who have contributed in no small measures to advancement of the economy and value system, and can not be referenced in condescending manner.
