Veteran Actor, Papa Ajasco Is Dead

Femi Ogunrombi, well known as Papa Ajasco, was a veteran actor from Nigeria.
Late Ogunrombi racked up popularity for his role in Wale Adenuga’s comedy series.
Husseini Shaibu, a theatre professional, verified the tragic news of the gifted actor’s passing on Sunday via his Twitter account.
He wrote, “I have just been reliably informed that the ethnomusicologist, former Music Instructor with #NATIONALTROUPE and one time stand in for the ‘Papa Ajasco’ character on the popular #waleadenugaprod comic series ‘Papa Ajasco’ Mr. Femi Ogunrombi is dead.”
When the previous character, Abiodun Ayoyinka, left the show, Ogunrombi assumed the position of Papa Ajasco and continued in it for the duration of the episode.
